I received my first guitar when I was 9. I was soon taking it apart, seeing how it works, and then modifying it as I wanted. I never stopped.
Over the years it progressed from there, experimenting with materials and technology. I have made guitars from a variety of materials, including one of my favorites, plexiglass. It has lead to a creative, entrepreneurial life of arts and technology.
It is our goal to encourage and inspire others to discover and explore their own way to the future.
It has been found that project-based learning results in a better experience, with deeper learning, and enthusiastic and engaged, self-directed learners.
Students are more engaged when learning relates directly to the world they live in. Building guitars and other musical instruments is not only fun, it reinforces core learning principals, and helps establish a love for curiosity, learning and creating.
We facilitate learning by making the student directly involved in project planning and development. The final result is a happy builder of a musical instrument they will use and treasure for a lifetime, providing memories that last.
